Hello, I'm Shivani
A food culture researcher and creative practitioner based in Bangalore, India. My work explores the intersection of food, people, and place — and how these shape identity, culture, and systems.
My approach is investigative and collaborative. Through fieldwork, observation, dialogue, and sensory exploration, I understand food as both
an anchor to heritage, and a bridge to evolving ways of life.
Over the past decade, this lens has extended into kitchens, farms, breweries, small businesses, FMCG brands, and food media platforms, allowing me to develop a panoramic understanding of Indian foodscapes across grassroots realities and industry shifts.
Through this work, I support institutions, brands, and community projects with strategic storytelling and cultural programming that make food more visible, meaningful, and impactful.
Turning ideas into projects that
make food more visible, meaningful, and impactful.
