Hello, I'm Shivani

A Bangalore-based food culture researcher and storyteller. My work examines the intersection of food, people and place, and how these elements influence identity, culture and food systems at large.
Trained in culinary arts, I have spent the last decade working across different sectors of the food and beverage industry, spanning restaurants, small businesses, craft breweries, sourcing partnerships, food media, trend forecasting, and more.
This varied experience across the producer, consumer and industry level has allowed me to develop a panoramic view of Indian foodways.
